Wide and super-wide format digital printers can enjoy a broader range of cost effective eco-conscious ink options following Magenta-Vision’s newest addition – ECO-TOPAZ eco-solvent ink. All Magenta-Vision inks are now produced and tested at length in Poland using state-of-the-art technology to deliver affordable world class quality products in a heavily competitive market environment.

In line with traditional eco-solvent ink benefits, the new ECO-TOPAZ inks are made from ether extracts obtained from mineral oils and produce less VOCs. They are therefore low in odour and irritancy, which make them much safer in usage than general solvent inks. They also offer a very large CMYK colour gamut with vibrant colours and rich blacks, higher scratch resistance and fast drying times resulting in higher print speeds, smoother functioning printers and overall increased production. Finally, the printheads don’t require such constant cleaning as the chemicals are less aggressive to the inkjet nozzles and components.

The ECO-TOPAZ eco-solvent ink can be used to produce jobs on a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications including banners, mesh, self adhesive and paper. It is compatible with Mimaki, Roland and Mutoh printers as well as with Ricoh and Espon printheads. The new ink is available now in 1 litre and cartidge options. Charles Poot-Baudier, General Manager at Magenta-Vision, comments: “Our new ECO-TOPAZ eco-solvent ink delivers affordable high quality performance, with fast drying times. It allows our customers to have a wider choice when looking to meet demanding production objectives and end user criteria.”
