Bike cafés are conquering cities as a popular cycling destinations. In addition to instant service and acosy backdrop for a pit stop, the popular cafés offer a shop area with bicycle accessories and spare parts. At EuroShop 2020, the Filmolux Group, sales organisation of Neschen Coating GmbH, follows this trend and presents an exhibition booth in the style of a bike café with an industrial theme. The EuroShop, taking place from the 16th to the 20th of February 2020 in Düsseldorf, is the world's largest exhibition for the retail sector.

Future-oriented and dynamic as the industry itself, the exhibition presents itself in eight fascinating retail dimensions with all the trends and topics that are shaping the future of retail. Besides just coffee, there is much else to discover in the Filmolux bike café. The booth features minimalistic industrial design elements, made of brick, concrete, wood, iron and corrugated sheet metal and—just like an authentic bike café—feature a sitting- and workshop area. The concept is ideal for presenting the products, featuring bikes elaborately designed with Neschen media, photo art with gudy® mounting films and industrial design walls, featuring products of the wallcovering range.

The Filmolux Group also offers a wide range of PONGS® textiles. These include sound-absorbing textiles, which are suitable for large-scale wall and ceiling coverings and room dividers. "With our bike café concept, we are introducing visitors to the versatile application possibilities of our products, integrated into a shop environment. Whether it is walls, ceilings, windows or floors, Filmolux offers a suitable solution for any application," says Erik Geutjes, CMO Filmolux Group.

In addition to already established products, Filmolux presents new product developments such as gudy® 806hybrid. The film is a unique solution, created to equip challenging substrates with self-adhesive properties, guaranteeing a long-term and reliable bond. It is an ideal solution for mounting demanding or heavy materials such as wallpapers, textiles, wood, artificial leather or sheet materials. The product offers completely new possibilities for shop fitting.

During EuroShop, the fairground’s most frequented restaurant is transformed into the STANLEY D project, showcasing products of various collaborators from within the printing industry. The entire location was redesigned without any structural changes. Works of the artist Christoph Zierhut, in combination with implementations of the designer Susanne Widera, transform the interior. Numerous products from the Filmolux and Neschen portfolio are incorporated and transform existing restaurant elements such as tables and are used as decorative room dividers or sensational wall design.
