Summa is pleased to report another successful showing at Fespa Berlin 2018. In front of an international and eager audience Summa seized the opportunity to present its newest developments and innovations on their arsenal of finishing cutting equipment. On display on the Summa booth were, amongst others, their newest flatbed size, the F1832, offering the ideal size to cut popular material widths, such as 150 cm wide roll material,152 x 304 cm wide rigid board material and the popular textile size of 183 cm.

Together with the F1612, the F1832 offered the visitors handson demonstrations and ideas to get the most benefit from their high-performance finishing flatbed systems. Numerous existing and new add-ons and functionalities on the F Series, such as Poster Trim mode, Operator Zone, Tandem mode, Automated Depth Control, etc. make Summa’s F Series capable of unprecedented performance. Depending on the specifics of the jobs and material, different tools, functionalities and modes can be used to customize the machine entirely to the operator’s specific needs. Of course, also Summa’s renowned range of roll cutters, SummaCut and S Class 2 Series, were present and fully operational during the entire show.

A true funfair of stickers, very much appreciated as give-aways, were cut continuously on Summa’s robust, precise-cutting roll cutters. Especially the S2 Class Series, showing-off their new G-Performance mode, were exposed to numerous curious and surprising looks among the visitors. Not only will the G-Performance mode increase performance of digital finishing operations on the S2 Class Series up to 40%. It will do this at the same unsurpassed accuracy as before. Because you know what they say: “it always seems impossible, until it’s done”! Geert Pierloot, Summa’s Marketing and Development Manager, explains: “We always continue to focuss on supporting sign and display sectors with extended and improved finishing cutting solutions. It is therefore very important to know market demands and to keep close contact with signmakers, who are active on the workfloor on a daily basis. Summa’s ever-increasing range of finishing cutting solutions offer these signmaking companies expertise, out-of-the-box and high-end finishing solutions to make their day-to-day business as smooth as can be”.
