Since December 2020, ASLAN, German developer and manufacturer of self-adhesive films, offers the ASLAN Academy as a series of online events. Topics of the content-driven webinars range from basic knowledge about selfadhesive vinyls, their adhesives and liners to product-specific ones such as webinars about ASLAN’s speciality films.

The group attendees is highly diversified: newbies and pros from the industry are welcome to join the webinars for free. The topics of the ASLAN Academy are of interest to sales and marketing people from distributors, to sign makers as well as to architects and interior designers.

Just like a real-life Academy, the first sessions focussed on basics of self-adhesives films, on different kinds of adhesives and on new ecological print media. Current topics are product-specific to ASLAN`s speciality vinyls, such as metal effect or glass decoration films, solutions for architecture and interior design as well as marketing sessions focussing digital marketing and opportunities in new markets.

Anja Falkenberg, Director Sales & Marketing, states: “We never intended to use the ASLAN Academy as a simple product training. We want to share insights from a manufacturer’s side and to discuss our customer’s current challenges – the positive feedback we have received is impressive.”

Participation in the ASLAN Academy is for free, a simple e-mail to academy@aslanfolien.de is enough to sign up. The schedule is available online at www.aslanfolien.de/en/academy.html. All webinars will be held in at least English and German language, French is optional depending on the number of subscriptions. Also individual company-internal webinars can be realised upon request. Attendees do not need any software since all webinars are held in Zoom Meetings and are accessible using computers, tablets or mobiles. The webinars will take place on Fridays and more dates and topics will be scheduled soon.
